Does the use of an electric thruster require special physical conditions?

To use a thruster, you must be able to swim and have no medical contraindications to aquatic and underwater activities. No particular physical aptitude is required.

Where are the sessions held?

The sessions take place from the Peiras beach in Les Issambres with very easy access to the sea.

Mask and wetsuit, do you have to bring your own equipment?

Mask, shorty or diving suit if the water is cold, are provided free of charge by us within the limits of availability, but if you prefer you can bring your own equipment.
Remember to take your swimsuit, a protective T-shirt, a bath towel, sunscreen, a bottle of water, as well as everything you think will be useful for your comfort...
You can also take a Go Pro type camera to immortalize this moment of intense pleasure!

Do you need a license to drive a thruster?

No, no license is required to drive a thruster.

From what age is it possible to use a thruster?

Accessible from 12 years old and 40 kg in autonomy, for the SEABOB, but accompanied by an adult who must be present throughout the session, without however being obliged to practice.
The TINI for children from 7 years old knowing how to swim under the responsibility of an adult throughout the session.
A certain maturity is necessary to practiceactivity, participation remains subject to the assessment of the Eco Gliss representative.
Any dangerous behavior on the part of participants, whether for themselves or for others, will immediately end their session without the possibility of reimbursement.

Can thrusters be used by people with reduced mobility?

Yes, provided that there are no medical contraindications to the practice of aquatic and underwater activities. Do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

Is it possible to rent a thruster for 1 or more days?

This is possible, on a yacht type boat, equipped with a generator to ensure the load of the thruster. You will be asked for a deposit by credit card of 5000€.
